A trendsetter since day one, Blo Blow Dry Bar hit the scene in 2007 as North America’s first blow dry bar. Since then, Blo has expanded to more than 100 franchise locations in three countries, providing guests with expert beauty services and the “pink carpet treatment.” Blo is about more than good hair days. The brand aims to bring out guests’ self-confidence by enhancing their natural beauty, helping them look and feel their best. Part of our job was to bring this energy to their franchise website and lead generation efforts.
Blo Blow Dry Bar was ready for a new website and new leads. We developed their franchise website in tandem with the brand’s (first-ever!) PPC efforts to create a cohesive digital presence. We set out to capture Blo’s vivacious spirit while effectively communicating the franchise opportunity to inspire more qualified candidates to enter the sales funnel.
Blo is a fun brand with a heap of benefits to offer its Franchise Partners. They just needed a little help framing these advantages in a way that spoke to candidates. So, we started by developing a franchise website to meet their new design standards. We greatly expanded the copy to better highlight their company culture while outlining the information candidates want to see most, like the average unit volume, now front and center on the homepage. Next, we developed a PPC landing page alongside Google and social ads to drive more interested traffic to the franchise opportunity.
The revamped and revitalized website embodies Blo Blow Dry Bar’s unique brand personality: a little bit of sass and a whole lot of class. Clean design with pops of Blo’s signature color creates a streamlined flow that ushers candidates from page to page. An approachable but professional tone invites candidates to explore the franchise opportunity with easily “skimmable” content.
The Lead Generation
Targeted Google and social ads direct interested candidates to a comprehensive PPC landing page that provides an overview of the opportunity. We made sure to include Blo’s bubbly personality in everything from the design to the copy while maintaining consistency with the franchise website. Detailed financial information helps prequalify candidates submitting an inquiry form.
Our end goal wasn’t just to improve the number of leads Blo receives, it was to improve the quality of leads.
