Meet Rachel, Our New Organizer Extraordinaire

Rachel Agin, Account Coordinator

Give a warm, Wheatie welcome to our new account coordinator, Rachel Agin! After spending part of her upbringing in Las Vegas, Rachel has made her way to back to the city (and to Wheat!) to grow her career in marketing.

Headed West

After graduating with a degree in marketing and minor in public relations from the University of West Florida, Rachel headed to the Lone Star state to work in event planning. “My parents go to Austin City Limits every year,” Rachel tells us, “I went with them when I was 15 or 16 and always wanted to live there since.”

Rachel’s penchant for immaculate organization and superior time management skills helped her pull off intimate and large-scale events, ranging from 50-person weddings to wine festivals with near 7,000 attendees. But after years in the industry, Rachel was ready for a change of scenery and new challenges.

“I think my skills are really transferrable to what I’ll be doing at Wheat,” Rachel says. And we have to agree! As a part of our accounts team, Rachel will help organize projects, manage deadlines, and keep our team of creatives on task. She will also act as a liaison between our clients and the team, effectively communicating the client’s needs so that we can produce out-of-this-world deliverables.

Happy Little Accidents

While many people find new opportunities on job boards, Rachel’s introduction to Wheat Creative was a matter of chance. Rachel tells us, “I was actually on my way to an interview with another company nearby and I saw the logo through the window. I looked it up and thought, wow, that’s a place I’d like to work.”

Between her project coordination skills, friendly personality, and love of food, Rachel is the perfect addition to the Wheatie bunch. “I’m a huge foodie. I love to eat out, cook, and try new recipes. My mom is Italian, and she really passed down her love of cooking to me. I make great meatballs,” Rachel says. We also learned that Rachel has a cat named Ziggy, to whom she’s allergic. Someone who loves animals that much is our kind of person! Oh, and did we mention she can fold a fitted sheet? Now, that’s impressive.

Welcome aboard, Rachel! We’re excited to see what amazing work you’ll help us produce for our clients, and we’re hoping that someday (sans Covid) you bring us a plate of your famous meatballs.
